An award-winning Producer and Editor, Peter Kinoy has worked for twenty-five years in the New York media industry. His most recent work is State of Fear, a feature-length documentary about Peru’s "war on terror" (2005). His independent title When the Mountains Tremble won a Special Jury Prize at The Sundance Film Festival, and Teen Dreams (official Sundance selection 1995) pioneered self-documentation with small format cameras.

Kinoy’s editing credits frequently appear on PBS documentary specials, on Nova and on the BBC. Peter Kinoy has taught editing at Columbia University. He is a member of The Media College of the University of the Poor and also a member of The Writers Guild, East.
